Can a regular boat trailer be used for a canoe?

Jun 18, 2008 by thechicagoloop Categorized Under: Other - Outdoor Recreation

I'm looking to transport a boat and put in water in the simplest way possible (as children are too young to contribute to lifting). I thought that a (less expensive) annual boat trailer could be modified with tires of working for a boat so I could use a boat ramp. Anyone?

If the tanks are adjacent to enough together to support the boat it will work fine. Its much hassle for a boat though. You must keep the trailer, including their appearance and lights. You can get products that generate carrying your canoe easier. A rack that allows you to roll over the top of the car and a boat trolley to roll in the water could make all the difference.
