What is the best way to patch a Coleman Ram-X Canoe?

Oct 14, 2007 by Frenchy-68 Categorized Under: Other - Outdoor Recreation

I have a 15 foot X-RAM Coleman canoe with a RIP Great 4 inch and 1 / 4-1 / 2 inch gap witdth positioned right on the keel of the boat (Stern).

What is the best way to come to this? I thought about using fiberglass, but is afraid she will not have the same flexibility as the RAM-X a. While I am, I would address many of the canoe, there are many deep scratches.

Is it good to try to fix X-RAM or is it just time for a new one?

Coleman Canoe from walmart, what prices do yall have?

Mar 23, 2007 by Mr. Secret Categorized Under: Other - Outdoor Recreation

I called walmart today to find out how much their canoes are, and they said 368. I was like, are you inescapable? That sounds really cheap. And he checked again, and said the same thing. These are the polyethylene, or however you spell it, plastic type. Also, if anyone out there knows, are these advantage getting? I'm sure if that price is right, i can't go wrong, but just curious what people's experiences are with them. Thanks.

I have an Old Municipality Guide. It's 14.5 ft with styrofoam in between the poly stuff - a "tri hull". I think it's a wagerer canoe. Mine holds 50 lbs more than colemans 16 ft. It was on sale for 340.00. Normally, I think it's around 450.00, but you see them on tag sale a lot in the spring. I don't know if those will float ther own weight after submertion, but you should check on that. The styrofoam in mine keeps it honourable above the surface when fuul of water. One other thing I found out - The "carrying weght" they advertise is literally the "gunwall touching water the water weight". Of course there's a yarn behind that info. Good luck.

Yup, Colemon is proper, probally they are quoeting U a15 foot one , for rough going and rocky rivers way 2 go,as well as other stuff check the specs. on colemon canoes as well as other brands.

Like camping, only bigger

12.09.09

Saturday - September 12, 2009 as camping, but more

We subgenus half unpacked here. Demi, and we clear that it was okay, since we are still here welcome the chase. Why all this unpacking, repacking only for a month or two? In this aspect the most boxes are "stored". This means that we have a wall up stacked in the open pit, and another dividing them in my bedroom closet and store surface rational promptly back kitchen door.

This morning we Stony earn a little full weekend, bacon, eggs and pancakes. The syrup was in a box in my closet. The pancake mix was in a box in the den. The pool was mixed in a box in the caboose (hey, I'm a little organized, and put labels on all boxes, then the strategic locations), and the hot plate was ... somewhere. Somehow that made me known about a dozen boxes and finding more than half an hour.

When I was a kid we used to go camping. Actual camping in a tent deep in the forest. None of this claptrap RV for us.Nor any of the camping pop up trailer, bunk, or even a component Camping in the back of a van. And we did it in a car spoonful. We had a 1967 VW Fastback, because a) it is gas mileage Keen, and b) we could not donate much more. I plead with B is about why we went camping. It is a budget priced holiday, which in theory is that speculators no vacation. The agenda surprisingly refrigerate this rare car - it was the "big" VW is the day too - is that he had 2 trunks. A forward on the gas tank. One in the back, over the machine. She also had seat belts, and the rocker flexile (!) Windows ass opened with a lever by bending the back. Amazing. In prison, we fit all 4 of us, challenging our Welsh terrier, a Coleman cooler and a raffia basket agony. Food and cooking equipment went to the forehead. Clothing went in the back-foot locker with trappings of fishing, all in boxes custom fit. Above is a Herculean top car hauler in prison for the rest, a box of varnished plywood 5 feet on one side with 10 "high walls. We did it ourselves. Who was mounted to distress those esoteric transom Stiletto mounts that clipped onto the gutters drizzle on top. This box was overloaded to the gills, and above, while holding down, was the monstrous Coleman tent we had. Perhaps trying today are bigger, but it at 9x16 with cable 8-foot peak in intoxicated, was huge in its day. He weighed over 100 pounds. That bag of aluminum masts was the same one foot in diameter, was attached to the distress rises next to the car top boxes. And containerization that were not enough, in addition to all this, we had a 18-foot Grumman aluminum canoe. Do not ask me how my father never managed to get this weight up to 65 mph from the recount 1.6 liter 65hp engine.Or how he managed to retain either. Or how we managed not to run the other, driving for days without stop, as usual with overflow bladder, while the odd dog got under your feet or foot on your balls....
