Missouri river regulations, can some one just float down the river in a canoe?

you can, but you're sure to review all safety requirements .... PFD, whistle / horn and a fire extinguisher. You also need to take flares, a radio and be aware that we can not be on the water during the night.

A few of my friends and I are interested in delightful a 4 or 5 day canoe trip along the Orange River, but cant afford the amounts charged by river guide companies. All of us have done the river before and are wondering if you can attempt the river without a control?
