How do you build a (working) wooden canoe (easily)?

I'm fourteen and worrying to build a wooden canoe, nothing fancy, but at least presentable and floating. Could someone provide instructions or websites with instructions about this topic?
PS if you're giving instructions, please don't use favour vocabulary. Thanks!

Very very unbelievably: use cedar strips, glued together and shaped and epoxied with fiberglass. about 800 hours of work.

Very very: get a stitch-and-glue kit from:
http://www.pygmyboats.com/mall/taiga.asp
I've built four of their kayaks. Takes about 80 hours and a $1000 kit.

Just now as pretty, cheaper, but more research and work: google "canoe plans" and look for unrestricted or buy plans for a stitch-and-glue canoe. Goto amazon for books on wooden canoes/kayak for more background. "Loft" (layout) the cuts on 1/8" mahogoney plywood from Lodgings Depot ($25/sheet) and epoxy together.

Not as pretty, but maybe easier is to use 1/4" or 3/8" plywood. Here's an instance: http://www.boatdesigns.com/products.asp? dept=65
Goggle "canoe plans" and lots of sites will come up.

Take into account something like a "john boat" with its straighter sides for easier construction.

Direction 1. Get a log bigger than the canoe you want.
Step 2. Carver away everything that does not look like a Canoe.
