Do hydrofoil stabilizers increase top speed?

I would like to snowball the speed of my boat by 4-6 mph. I saw some of the hydrofoil stabilizers announce they can accomplish this task. If you have installed on your boat, can you run if it helped?

I have a 115 Suzuki outboard on a 18-foot fish and ski. I am packing around 40 mph just now. The boat planes very quickly, so I want just a cheap way to get a little more speed.

How a Hydrofoil increases over the course of a boat if you have a boat of low power or one that does not tip off. You have plenty of power and you say it fast planes, then you do not need the "leaf. You slow down rather than speed you up. 40 MPH is about right for this boat with this engine. There are some things you can do for more speed, but no reasonable amounts. A 150 HP engine could help but only if the boat is rated for it.
