They were some flesh colored skins used for their manufacture, usually yellow, bronze, brown and black.

The seals and caribou have dipped the most. Some kayaks have red or red and black stripes painted on them as decorations.

I was on a squeeze through and had a question answered from someone that was from Northern Ireland. I commented on their rivers over there, b/c I like to kayak and they said that there were "a lot of rivers, but they were straight on Inuit:>)"

The First Land People of the North. (anyone can be a native of alaska if born there) You may be more familiar with the word eskimo - draw a blank that word and never use it. These people are all over the northern lands and that includes Canada, Russia, and by virtue of Alaska, the US. Inuit are lofty kayakers and Kayak is the Inuit word for their type of canoe.
