what were the color of Inuit kayaks?

I sine qua non of what Inuit kayaks are colored.
And a website to how you know it:)

They were some flesh colored skins used for their manufacture, usually yellow, bronze, brown and black.

The seals and caribou have dipped the most. Some kayaks have red or red and black stripes painted on them as decorations.


Penitent, no website, just an assumption. I'm going with brown or beige, the color of skins of seals, since they are everywhere up there.

I was on a squeeze through and had a question answered from someone that was from Northern Ireland. I commented on their rivers over there, b/c I like to kayak and they said that there were "a lot of rivers, but they were straight on Inuit:>)"
