How do you remove the non skid(black rubber) pad on a water slalom ski when installing a new binding?

This is the wrong place where you put your feet when you use a strap toe post and I was wondering if you can delete.

With material like floss normally works. Get a strand of dental floss, get into the rubber and Sidle "seen" in the room. You can also add gentle cleaners or removers to help smooth things. WARNING do not use something too strong if you need help of chemicals will not damage the skis.

Looking for tips on slalom skiing- deep water starts?

I got lyrical good at slalom water skiing last summer and am looking to go to the next level- we upgraded our boat (from a Bayliner 175 with 135 hp to a Maxum 2200 with 260 hp), bought a complicated dual binding slalom ski and are ready to hit the water! The problem is, I've never been good at deep water starts. I feel like I'm being dragged under water for 20 seconds, can't from head to toe lean back enough and fall. I can get up and drop no problem. I thought it was that the boat was underpowered, but think its more in my technique now that we have a bigger, faster yacht. Any tips would be awesome!

well you miss to lean forward and as so as you get half up start to cut, that will bring you up faster (less time being dragged) try doing some change starts with one ski. good luck please put me as best anwser
