Why did Clipper Adventurer cross sailing yacht's bow on Thursday 6 September, off Bass Rock?

Clipper CAD was slowed, stopped or almost, near Bass Rock, probably leaving for the passenger. Our boat came to fight Rock, to pass well in advance. Suddenly and without apparent reason, Clipper put her engines ahead and to all of our bow. Very questionable, at best, it would have crossed safely ahead of us we had to change course to go around her stern. As holder of the veil, we should not have. Were you on board? How do you look for maneuver?

Essentially, yes, a utensil walking must give way to a sailboat.

However, there are some exclusions.

1. If the ship is great and being fed in a narrow channel (considering this was inconceivable off Bass Rock - Near North Berwick), then the boat must sell.

Clipper Adventurer is a relatively small ship and it is unlikely that you'd been so close that it was not able to see you because of the sight of the bridge, either to port or starboard to come.
